Te Whare Tapa Wha

 This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.

Greats and Grands

 

Today was meant to be Greats and Grands day at our school.  This has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19.  We wanted to still share some writing about our amazing grandparents.  Here is my work.

Anzac Poem

We wrote poems in class about Anzac soldiers.  Here is my poem.  I worked with Tracey and Mrs G to finish this. 

Make a compass

 As part of t-shaped literacy this week we read a journal article called Make a Compass. We followed the instructions and recorded the steps.

Chromebook Recount

We have been learning to add hooks into our writing to make our stories interesting.  We can use a hook to start our paragraphs which hooks in our reader.

Persuasive Writing

Today we listened to a story call Rufus goes to School. We had to decided if the Principal should let Rufus come to school.

Bee Bot Adventure in Lock Down

This was an activity where we could share our experiences that we had in Lockdown with other students.. We used BeeBots and coding to make our own adventures.
