Anzac Poem

We wrote poems in class about Anzac soldiers.  Here is my poem.  I worked with Tracey and Mrs G to finish this.

Make a compass

 As part of t-shaped literacy this week we read a journal article called Make a Compass. We followed the instructions and recorded the steps.

It was fun. I was racing Colin. I won. They are the same colours as the fritters. They moved fast on the ground. They were racing like America's Cup boats.

We have been learning to add hooks into our writing to make our stories interesting.  We can use a hook to start our paragraphs which hooks in our reader.
